【摘要】:Vegetabletanningmaterialsarenaturalproductscontainingvarioussubstancesofvaryingcomposition,concentrationandquality.Themethodsreferencedareusefulforanalyzingandtestingvegetabletanningmaterialsformoisture,water-extractablesubstances,cold-solublefractions,tannins,non-tannins,acidity,tanningproperties,thecoloroftannedleather,andthepresenceorabsenceofcertainadmixtures.1.1Thispracticeisintendedforuseinthechemicalanalysisofallvegetabletanningmaterials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
