【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplytolaboratoryhoodsandcabinetsintendedtoprovideanenclosedcountertopworkareawithexhaustforcontainmentandremovalofvapors,mists,gases,andparticulatematterfromtheworkarea.1.2Theserequirementsdonotcoverductlesshoods(i.e.,hoodsthatrecirculateairbacktoroomenvironmentafterfiltering)orgloveboxes.1.3Theseproductsareinvestigatedforfire,electricalandmechanicalriskofinjuriesonly.Alimitednumberoftestsareconductedforminimalairflowcapability.Itremainsfortheusertodeterminethatthehoodperformance,asconfirmedbytherequirementsinthisstandard,meetstheneedsoftheuser.Theseneedsdependonseveralfactors,includinginstallationwithproperexhaustequipment,locationwithintheroom,thetypeofmaterialbeinghandledandthemethodinwhichthematerialisbeinghandled.Also,suitabilityforusewithperchloricacidorradiologicalmaterialsisnotinvestigated.1.4RequirementsfortheinstallationoflaboratoryhoodsareincludedintheStandardforFireProtectionforLaboratoriesUsingChemicals,NFPA45andintheMethodofTestingPerformanceofLaboratoryFumeHoods,ASHRAE110.1.5Requirementsfortheinstallationofpipedgassystemsarecontainedinthefollowingstandards:a)NationalFuelGasCode,NFPA54,b)LiquefiedPetroleumGasCode,NFPA58,c)GaseousHydrogenSystemsatConsumerSites,NFPA50A,d)DesignandInstallationofOxygen-FuelGasSystemsforWelding,Cutting,andAlliedProcesses,NFPA51.
