【摘要】:1.1Thispracticedescribesmethodsforthestatisticalanalysisoflaboratoryresultsobtainedfrominterlaboratoryproficiencytestingprograms.AsperPracticeE1301,proficiencytestingistheuseofinterlaboratorycomparisonsforthedeterminationoflaboratorytestingormeasurementperformance.Conversely,collaborativestudy(orcollaborativetrial)istheuseofinterlaboratorycomparisonsforthedeterminationoftheperformancecharacteristicsofamethod,ascoveredbyPracticeE691.1.1.1MethodAcoverstestingprogramsusingsingletestresultsobtainedbytestingasinglesample(eachlaboratorysubmitsasingletestresult).1.1.2MethodBcoverstestingprogramsusingpairedtestresultsobtainedbytestingtwosamples(eachlaboratorysubmitsonetestresultforeachofthetwosamples).Thetwosamplesshouldbeofthesamematerialortwomaterialssimilarenoughtohaveapproximatelythesamedegreeofvariationintestresults.1.2MethodsAandBareapplicabletoproficiencytestingprogramscontainingaminimumof10participatinglaboratories.1.3Themethodsprovidedirectionforassessingandcategorizingtheperformanceofindividuallaboratoriesbasedontherelativelikelihoodofoccurrenceoftheirtestresults,andfordeterminingestimatesoftestingvariationassociatedwithrepeatabilityandreproducibility.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
